RUDOLF JELÍNEK manufactures alcoholic drinks, in particular spirits, which have a tradition going back to the 16th century in Vizovice. The company was founded in 1894 and is currently the largest European manufacturer of fruit spirits. In addition to the traditional plum brandy, it also offers pear brandy, cherry brandy, apricot brandy, apple brandy and many various special fruit spirits such as strawberry brandy, bilberry brandy, service apple brandy, blackcurrant brandy etc. The range of kosher spirits manufactured under the strict supervision of representatives from the Jewish community since the 1930s is also noteworthy. The firm exports approximately 30 % of its production.
